Returns Policy

 

If you have purchased your sunglasses from our Online Store and are not happy with them for any reason please let us know straight away by contacting our customer care office for assistance.

Would you like to return or exchange your purchase?

We will accept your returned items for exchange or full refund within 30 days of purchase, however there are a few conditions.:

  1. You must contact our customer care office for a Return Authorisation.
  2. The product must be unworn and with swing tags and packaging intact.
  3. You must return them using Australia Post insured and registered at your cost.


Care of Sunglasses

  • Gently wash dust and grit from your lenses under cold running water. For a more thorough clean, use warm soapy water.
  • When using a lens spray, do not spray it onto mirrored lenses unless they are made of glass, as this could damage the lens coating.
  • Always dry with a microfibre cloth to help prevent scratching. Avoid using tissue or paper products as they can scratch the lenses.
  • Salt or chlorinated water can cause corrosion to metal parts of your Sunglasses. If your sunglasses are exposed to these elements, rinse promptly in fresh water, avoid wiping with a dry cloth after exposure, as this can lead to marks or scratches on the lenses.
  • Do not leave your sunglasses on the dashboard or console of your car, as excessive heat can cause distortion and damage to frames and lenses.
  • To avoid hinge and screw damage, remove sunglasses from your face with both hands and ensure regular maintenance to the screws ensuring the remain tight.
  • Always store your sunglasses in their case for extra protection.
  • Never wear your sunglasses on your head, this can cause the frame to stretch, and lenses can become loose.

 

Sunglass Warranty Information

Mangrove Jacks sunglasses are warrantied to the original purchaser for 6 to 12 months from the date of purchase against any defect in materials. This warranty is void if original lenses or frames are altered. Mangrove Jacks will replace, at our option, any pair of Mangrove Jacks sunglasses found to be defective—exclusive of damage caused by improper or unreasonable use. This warranty does not apply to normal wear, including lens scratching or accidental breakage. This warranty does not cover shipping cost.

While every care is taken to ensure screws remain tight, they may loosen with wear. We recommend regular maintenance to ensure lenses and frames remain secure. Lack of regular maintenance may result in lens or frame damage.

If the product(s) are returned to the place where they were originally purchased within the warranty period, if deemed to be under warranty we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product.

You will be responsible for any expenses incurred in returning the product to us and collecting it.

We will be responsible for any other expenses if the product is deemed a warranty.

If the damage is not due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will contact you to see if you want us to conduct repairs at your cost.
